What is the Romich Biotechnology Fund?

Romich Biotechnology Fund Inc.’s (RBF) primary goal is to facilitate the commercialization of innovative medical devices by leveraging the technology of early stage medical device companies. RBF identifies start-up companies that have a proven platform technology and then license the technology for another unexplored medical indication.

RBF’s management team and board of advisors have extensive experience and knowledge of medical device sales and distribution and have the resources to ensure the viability, vitality and commercialization of new research innovations.

RBF is a subsidiary of The Romich Group.

Who are The Romich Group?

Romich Medical Inc. was founded in 1996.  Initially Romich was developed to distribute minimally invasive medical devices for women’s healthcare.  It has since grown to take part in various healthcare opportunities.  Romich is now structured as an integrated medical company owning the real estate that houses its health centres and its biotechnology companies as anchor tenants.  The Romich Group has expanded to encompass both the Romich Biotechnology Fund (RBF) as well as the Romich Real Estate Fund (RRF).  RBF is a value-added seed fund investing in private biotechnology and health care companies.  RRF acquires and develops free standing mixed use commercial buildings; it anchors them with medical and health facilities.
